Windows lets you set certain programs as priority programs, so they'll break through the Focus assist mode. ![]() It's essentially a Do Not Disturb mode that mutes and suppresses alerts during certain times or in certain scenarios (like when you're running an app full screen, for example). Also on the System page in Settings you'll see something called Focus assist, which you might find more helpful in managing notifications.
